Astral Projection is an activity that fascinated me when I first started to do it; now it’s a daily exercise. I have never been officially taught to astral project.
Instead I bought a CD of brainwave frequencies many years ago, and it helped me leave my body, but I soon discovered that I didn’t need it.
There are different ways to travel the astral planes; some people leave their body completely taking their waking consciousness with them.
They are totally present in the astral planes, as if they were fully immersed in that dimension; this is astral travelling and slightly different to astral projection because with astral projection you are both in and out of body and conscious of it.
I don’t like the totally disconnected form of astral travel because I prefer to keep my consciousness in my physical body.
I practise my astral projection while in the bath, mainly because water is a conduit and it’s easier to access other realms when you are in water.
And secondly, it’s a comfortable peaceful place for me, somewhere I won’t be disturbed. I do tend to have the water a bit too hot though, it stays warm longer that way.
My astral projection record in the bath is not far off two hours and the water was still warm…. weird!
To begin my astral journey, I focus my attention on my breathing, and I call in my divine brother the ‘neutral’ Archangel Michael by saying his name three times and asking him to come with me.
Use your discernment to make sure it’s really him, I teach more about this in my Astral Projection workshop.
I would never travel without him protecting me though the astral planes even though they are generally a peaceful place for me because I mindfully take care of my own consciousness.
One must treat astral travel and projection with care and respect because you are entering a duality matrix, containing light and dark beings.
Remember that you are going to come across places, people and beings that are linked to what is going on in your own consciousness.
So if you spend your spare time watching horror movies and violent films, I would air with caution.
When in the astral realms, I’ve always told myself that it all is an illusion, which it is of course, and so I don’t get fearful.
Even when I come across some of the darker beings, I told them I loved them and they began to change in frequency.
They either got lighter, or they ran away. The phrase ‘Peace be with you’ when said 3 times, usually did the trick as well.
What we see in these levels of consciousness does feel real as we are experiencing it, so it can be scary but if you are light and act with discernment, there’s nothing to worry about.
I generally allow my astral body to step forward out of my physical body and I watch it go off into the other realms.
I can see and hear everything that is going on, and I can keep an eye on myself.
You can’t get lost because your bodies are connected by a silver cord similar to an umbilical cord.
This cord is strong, and it only disconnects when we die, freeing our spirit from the physical form.
I highly recommend learning to astral project.
If you want to know more, consider joining my Astral Projection Workshop, if you are interested in self enlightenment, spirituality, or just want to know more about my journeys, my books on Astral Projecting are ‘Saving the World from My Bathtub’, ‘The Princess & the Pink Moon Leeches’ and ‘The Avatar & the Crystal Key’.
They are all packed with astral journeys as well as other exciting things that I have encountered as they are fictional adaptations of my personal diaries, and these stories will expand your consciousness too.
With love & blessings
